Moses said, “The Lord God will raise for you a prophet like me from your brethren. You should listen to him in everything he tells you. When the Spirit of truth comes, He will lead you into all truth, for He will not speak of His own authority, but whatever He hears, He will speak, and He will announce to you the things that will come. We mistakenly think that we can hide our sins by pointing out the sins of others. We judge sinner through subtle forms of gossip and slander, which afflict the Spirit and divide God`s family. It is important to have discernment. And this means that Christians can and should make a sound judgment about the belief that is credible. Jesus Himself said that we do not judge by a person`s words, but by the fruit shown in his life (Matthew 7:20). But instead of judging by sinful means, we follow the way of Christ`s restoration, as set forth in scriptures such as Matthew 18 and Galatians 6:1. . .
